Common questions

Is my data safe? Yes. Everything stays on your device. We never see it.
Can I use it on multiple phones? Not yet — v1.0 is single-device. Cloud sync is coming.
How do I back up? Enable iCloud Backup in your iPhone Settings. RouteHero is included.

Privacy Policy

Effective July 1, 2026 · RouteHero for iOS

Short version: RouteHero does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any of your data. Everything you enter stays on your device.

1. Data collection

RouteHero is a fully offline route-management utility. The app does not collect any information from you or your device.

There is no account, sign-in, or registration.
There is no backend server operated by us.
There is no analytics, tracking, or telemetry.
There is no advertising SDK.
We do not receive location, contact, financial, health, or identifier data.

2. Where your data lives

All information you enter — locations, machines, collections, notes — is stored locally on your iPhone in the app's local storage:

Never leaves your device unless you explicitly share it.
Included in iCloud Backup only if you have iCloud Backup enabled for RouteHero.
Deleted when you delete the app.

3. Sharing receipts

When you tap "Share Receipt," RouteHero uses Apple's native Share Sheet to let you send the receipt via Email, Messages, AirDrop, Print, Save to Files (PDF), or any share extension you have installed. RouteHero does not choose the recipient, does not automatically send anything, and does not retain a copy after you send it.

4. Children's privacy

RouteHero is rated 4+ and contains no objectionable content. We collect no data from anyone, including children.

5. Third-party services

RouteHero does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or marketing services.

6. Changes to this policy

If a future version of RouteHero introduces optional cloud sync, multi-user accounts, or any other feature that changes how data is handled, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the new terms will be clearly disclosed in the app.
